MY TRIPS IN 2008

Hello, my name is Judit.

I’m going to talk about my trips in 2008, because it has been a special year.

• In March I went to PRINGY: is near the Alpes in France.

It was an exchange with French students. So I stayed with a French family for seven days.

We visited a lot of places like the village of Pringy, the U.N (United Nations) in Geneva, the mountains, and we walked on snowshoes.

When the French students weren’t at school, we met and went to the town centre to see shops, go for a walk, have a drink and chat.

We had a Farewell party on the last day but we knew we would meet in Catalonia in May.

• Durind the Easter holydays, I went to AMSTERDAM with my family and some

Friends.

We visited the clog’s factories, the windmills, cheese factories and some museums like: Van Gogh’s...

We stayed in a hotel in the centre of the city so we walked around the city, we sailed in the canals.

Durung the night Amsterdam in very lively so we just walked around.

It was the nicest trip I have done with my family.

• In June, at the end of the course, I went to MADRID with my friends.

We spent four days, and we stayed in a student’s hostel ouside the city.

We visited the city and the famous places like the squares (Real, Del Sol), the museums (el Prado), the parliament.

We went shopping and had fun.

• In July I also went to Dublin.

Final conclusion:

The most emocional was Pringy, because we met French people and learnt their traditions.

And the best of all was Dublin because I learnt a lot of Engilsh and I learnt a lot about life.

The main character Tracy is a teenage girl.

She is a good student. But she arrives in a new high school and she meets a new friend, Evie.

Evie is a bad influence for Tracy.

Tracy changes her character. She starts drinking alcohol, having sex, taking drugs...

She doesn’t talk with her mother, but her mother starts worrying about her daugther.
she decides to separate from Evie.

And finally Tracy thanks her mother.

Tracy vs Adrian Mole:

These stories are very similar, but the characters are very different.

Something they have in common is that their parents are divorced.

But Adrian is more conscious than Tracy.

Tacy takes drugs and she drinks alcohol.

Neither Tracy nor Adrian talk their parents.

Opinion of the film:

I liked this film because I think that there are many teenagers like them.

The problems are very worrying embarracing, and Tracy’s mother tries to help.

SPEED LIMIT EFFICIENCY DOUBTED

A SPOT WORTH KILLING FOR:
Prostitution inevitably brings its fair share of violence. For example, in Macanet, a women was shot from a car in what is beleived to be a dispute over territory. As can be seen from an incident before the summer in Vidreres, when a shot out between Bulgarian pimps led to a man being hospitalised.

YOUTH STABBED IN BCN METRO BY GROUP OF NEO-NAZIS.
The 16-year-old is in stable condition in hospital. The youth survived the stabbing, which narrowly missed his lung, and is presently in stable condition at the Hospital.
The incident was recorded by CCTV just after six o’clock in the evening, leaving no doubt as to events. The Mossos d’Esquadra are at work identifying the attackers.
The young man was travelling with a Latin American girl. As the two exited the train, they encountered the neo-nazis. Their affirmations were clear to each other based on physical appearance, who began to insult the man’s foreign-born girlfriend.
The insults led to a physical confrontation and one of the 10 pulled out a knife.

The istory of one night of halloween

This istory explains one night of halloween. The protagonists are friends of the school, they are thirteen years old
They estan celebrating the party in a house, the house was very big garden, and it was decorated whit lanters made with pumpkin, then were candles. Everybody was wering Halloween costumes, there were with us ghosts, skeleton, and monsters. They were telling ghost stories when the telephone rang.
Nobody wanted to answer it.
After three minutes the phone rang again. Finally someone decided to pick it up.
A change voice said that everybody had to go to the cementery. They went, when they arrived, they didn’t see anyone but they heard a noise.
They were very frightened and decided to return home. That moment the sate closed. One boy saw a shadow, and he discovered it was his father. They shanted and all the parents come out.
Finally they returned home together.

PRESENTATION

Hello my teacher. My is Judit Pagés Gorgori.
I'm sixteen years old. My birthday is in april.
I live in sant Pere Pescador, the last ten years i had study in Figueres, in the la Salle school. But in this school don't have class of "batxillerat", because of I have signed in IES Castelló d'Empúries school.
This summer I travelled in Dublin, I had two weeks for study English.I learned to speak a bit this lenguage.
we lived in a house and we had to go to the school, but the weekend we could go out in the city center.
